For his part, the head of the Abu Dhabi team mission, Salem Al-Rumaithi, confirmed that the decision to withdraw came after a continuous series of technical errors affecting the results achieved by the Abu Dhabi team and in a negative way.

He added: "We hold all the appreciation and affection for the tournament organizers in the Emirate of Fujairah and the Fujairah International Marine Sports Club, and we confirm that they have nothing to do with what happened, as the decisions come from the International Technical and Arbitration Committee in the tournament, appointed by the International Marine Sports Federation."
