The Swede Emil Persson, who drives for Lager 157, was good with and looked like he could take the victory in the men's Vasalopp.

But Andreas Nygaard was too strong in the sprint and Persson had to settle for a second place.

- He's superior, damn it.

I had to drive too much and close too many gaps, he tells SVT.

Andreas had a better day.

I have to be happy considering how they play out the last two miles.

They are seven pieces against one.

It was me and Novak who had to close door after door, it kills, it kills.

How do you feel about the second place in the Vasaloppet?

- I want to win, I'm here to win.

I'm damn dissatisfied with second place right now but give it a few days so maybe I'm happy, says Emil Persson.
