In August 2019, during training in New Zealand, Liang Jingyi accidentally fell while sliding because she was not familiar with foreign tracks.

  On March 5, in the men's downhill (standing) competition in alpine skiing at the Beijing Winter Paralympics, Liang Jingyi won the fourth place with a time of 1:16.36 and failed to reach the podium.

After more than 20 hours of adjustment and rest, he took the lead in the men's super giant slalom (standing) competition in alpine skiing and won the gold as he wished.
