Stina Nilsson had not scored a full goal in the World Cup until today.

During the Olympics, the 28-year-old was not allowed to run a single race.

In Saturday's sprint in Kontiolahti, Finland, she took third place, her first podium place in the biathlon world cup.

- It is huge, the first time on the podium is a fantastic experience, says SVT's expert Helena Ekholm.

- She looks a bit shocked almost when she reaches the finish line, she does not really dare to rejoice.

"Going into his bubble"

Nilsson had asked the Swedish management not to be matched in time against their competitors, agreed on the last lap.

- It shows that she really just wants to be in herself and do her race.

- She shows again that she does not absorb so much of what is happening around, she goes into her bubble and does what she is supposed to, Ekholm says.

Later in the Winter Studio, Ekholm pays tribute to Stina Nilsson again:

- Now you can really say that she is a biathlete for real.

Coach Jean-Marc Chabloz was moved after Nilsson's top race.

- There are a lot of emotions, I had a few tears before, but now I have gathered.

- It was hard for her at the Olympics to be in the background, but did a top job as a team player and comes here, first race, bang, podium, he says.
