Swimmer Sun Yang's team broke a doping test already taken in September 2018. The international arbitration court Cas sentenced the star to eight years' suspension - which was then shortened to four years and three months.
Sun Yang has tried to overturn the decision - but now he has had his final appeal rejected.
He will thus be able to compete from the Olympics in Paris 2024.
