He jumps from 2,000 meters and lands on skates

It was last Saturday that Thomas Biehl parachuted and landed on the frozen lake Runn, between Borlänge and Falun.

He did it with skates on his feet - as a tribute to the double Olympic gold medalist Nils van der Poel.

- I wanted to do something, so it was a little tribute, says Biehl about the hope.

"Know each other"

The parachutist has met van der Poel before.

- We jumped together a few years ago in Västerås.

We know each other.

So it felt a little fun.

How was the jump?

- It was nice to be out in the air again.

It was the start of the season.

Usually we jump from a maximum of 4,000 meters but now we were content with 2,000. It was perfectly okay.
