European Union requires Belarusian teams to play on neutral ground
The European Football Association (UEFA) announced today that all Belarusian national teams and teams competing in European competitions must play their home matches on neutral ground, following Belarus' support of Moscow in its invasion of Ukraine.
The European football governing body said in its statement that matches in which Belarusian teams are the hosts will be played behind closed doors to the fans.
