In wheelchair curling, which must consist of a mixed race, Hye-Jin Baek, the only female player, plays a key role in the team, leading active communication from the oldest Eun-goo Yoon to the youngest Seung-nam Ko, who is in charge of skipping.

In 2011, when she was 28, she suffered a spinal cord disorder in a car accident, and Baek Hye-jin's life, which was greatly reduced after she met her curling, changed drastically.

I also met my husband at the curling alley, and coincidentally, in the national team match, I put on the Taegeuk mark for the first time in my life by defeating the stronghold of Seoul City Hall, to which my husband Nam Bong-gwang belongs.



And I risked everything for my first wheelchair curling medal in 12 years.
