Short track track skater Shim Seok-hee, who was disciplined for gossiping with a colleague, joined the national team.

We delivered a letter to the SBS reporters saying they would sincerely apologize to the victims, Choi Min-jung and Kim A-rang.

This is Correspondent Ha Seong-ryong.

<Reporter> In

the midst of a truck protest against Shim Suk-hee's return in front of the Jincheon Athlete's Village, Shim Suk-hee arrived early and stayed in the car for over an hour.

After she struggled to get out of her car, she burst into tears and she couldn't take her foot off her easily, and after contemplating giving up her hometown, after talking for a while with her father, she headed to her Athlete's Village.

[Shim Suk-hee/Short Track National Team: I'm sorry.

I'm having a hard time speaking right now.]

Instead of an interview, I handed a pre-written letter to the SBS reporters.

The fact that Shim Suk-hee had demeaned her teammates was clearly her own fault, and she decided to join the national team because she wanted to apologize directly to Kim A-rang and Choi Min-jung, and she bowed her head once again.

She said that Shim Suk-hee will do her best to help her team members unite, saying that she will accept any reprimand or sacrifice.

While Choi Min-jung is scheduled to join tonight (2nd), concerns remain over Shim Seok-hee's joining.

Choi Min-jung's agency, All That Sports, also sent an official letter to the Ice Skating Federation asking him to prevent contact with Shim Seok-hee outside of her training hours.

On the other hand, Kim A-Rang was confirmed with Corona 19, making it unclear whether he will join the national team.

The national team that Min-jung Choi and Seok-hee Shim play together after 5 months will participate in the World Championships in Canada on the 18th.
