The Paralympics will be inaugurated on Friday and most of Sweden's squad is in place in Beijing - but cross-country skier Arnt-Christian Furuberg is still at home in Sweden.

- He tested positive for covid-19 at home in Sweden, but we hope that he has time to join the squad, says Niclas Grön.

The first planned race for Arnt-Christian Furuberg is 18 kilometers on Sunday.

Now it will be a battle against the clock and the virus for the Paralympics debutant.

TT: What is his status right now?

- He feels much better now, he has got a real turn.

It takes a little longer to recover.

But Arnt-Christian (Furuberg) really deserves to be here.

To travel to Beijing, Furuberg needs to show four negative PCR tests.

- There are tests every day until he tests negative.

As soon as he receives a negative message, he must do so for two days in a row.

Then he can go to Beijing and there a negative test is required at the airport as well.

There is a lot to be true, says Niclas Grön.

TT: Has anyone else tested positive?

- Only Arnt-Christian tested positive, we are grateful for that.
