There will be no World Cup start for Mona Brorsson in Kontiolahti, Finland.

The 31-year-old has suffered from covid-19 and is therefore staying at home.

"Unfortunately, there will be no World Cup in Finland for me after testing positive for covid.

Incredibly sad, but with the current world situation that has not been able to leave anyone untouched, I am also grateful to be able to spend a little extra quality time with my partner ", Brorsson writes on Instagram.

"Upward shape"

Johanna Skottheim, who should have actually competed in IBU Cup 8 in Lenzerheide, replaces.

- It feels good to be able to compete again after a training period at home.

I have an upward form and am really looking forward to being on the starting line, says Skottheim to the Biathlon Association's website.
