Egyptian Pyramids requests to host the Confederation Cup final

Egyptian club Pyramids announced that it has submitted an official request to the Confederation of African Football (CAF), to host the final match of the Confederation Cup (Confederation of African Football).

Mamdoua Eid, the club's CEO, revealed that Pyramids submitted a request to host the match at the Air Defense Stadium in Cairo, during the legal period during which (K) opened the door to submitting applications for hosting.

Eid said in statements, reported by his club's media center today, Tuesday, that Pyramids "found support and cooperation from Ashraf Sobhi, the Egyptian Minister of Sports, who confirmed his full support for the club's request."

He added that he also contacted the officials of the Egyptian Football Association to send the request through the federation, and they confirmed their support for the request of Pyramids, which is going wonderfully in the tournament, and he also contacted Hani Abu Rida, a member of the International Federation Council (FIFA) and the executive office of (CAF).

Pyramids occupies the top of the first group of the Confederation Cup, after gaining the full mark 9 points from three matches he has played so far in this role.

His group includes the Tunisian teams Sfaxien, Al-Ahly Tripoli of Libya and Zanaco of Zambia.
