The Organizing Committee of the "Iron Man" championship will hold a press conference at the Meydan Hotel to reveal the technical details of the championship, which will be held at Umm Suqeim Beach, next Saturday, in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council and with the participation of Olympic champion Christian Blumenfelt.

The Norwegian Olympic champion Christian Blumenfelt, who holds the world record for a distance of 70.3 km, the Swiss world champion Daniela Reeve, ranked second in the world in the women's category, the holder of the sixth edition of the Dubai Iron Man 2021 Championship and the four-time winner of the Iron Man World Championship, and Dane Daniel B Kiegard, winner of first place in the last edition and ranked sixth in the world in the men's category, and German Laura Philipp, ranked third in the world.

The Dubai Sports Council said in a statement: “The tournament will witness the participation of more than 2,500 male and female athletes from various countries and all continents of the world, including 100 professional champions and top ranked men and women in the world, and the organizing committee announced that the registration door will be closed 29 hours after the start of the season. He opened it, making it the fastest race to participate.”

The council confirmed that the championship competitions will start with a swimming race opposite Umm Suqeim Beach Park in Jumeirah at seven in the morning, and a bicycle race will be held in various Dubai roads, passing through the Al Marmoom Protected Area, and the running stage on Al Khallab Beach Track, and the distance that the participants in the competitions will travel 113 kilometers in three competitions. This includes swimming for 1.9 km, cycling for 90 km and running for 21.1 km on the running track along Jumeirah Beach.
