Johannes Thingnes Bö has decided to stand over the rest of the season.

After a long Olympic recharge, which resulted in four gold and one bronze, the Norwegian feels that he needs to rest.

- The past year has been challenging both physically and mentally in terms of infection control and optimization before the Olympics.

Since the last Olympics 2018, there has not been time for a long break and therefore I take time off now, so I am ready and motivated for the next four years until the Olympics 2026, says Thingnes Bö in a press release.

The Norwegian is in fifth place in the World Cup before the three final competitions.
