Heomin Heroes, chairman of the board of directors, announced at the board meeting on the 17th that he would not be reappointed as chairman.

Heo Min, who took office as the chairman of the board of directors in 2018 as a 'management supervisor', has been criticized for causing a lot of scandal.

He practically neglected the situation in which close aides of the major shareholder Lee Jang-seok, who was imprisoned for embezzling club funds, were receiving large sums of money from the club. At the end of his travels, such as firing a manager who protested, he received a disciplinary suspension from the KBO.

In the meantime, he received harsh criticism from fans for missing out on 'the symbol of the team' Park Byung-ho, rather than 'recruiting an external FA' as he hardly provided financial support to the club.

While CEO Heo Hong, who is known to have been recruited by Heo Min, also announced his intention to resign, Heroes is expected to appoint a new CEO at the general shareholders' meeting on the 4th as early as the 4th.

The representative of Mr. Jang-seok Lee, who was released from prison last year, will attend the shareholders' meeting, and it is highly likely that the person recommended by Mr. Jang-seok Lee, who holds 67% of the stake in the club, will be appointed as the CEO.
