The Russian invasion is getting more and more Ukrainians to join the National Guard to defend their country.
Among other things, the former boxing star Vasyl Lomatjenko, with double World Cup titles, has joined the army.
The 34-year-old confirms this on social media where he publishes a picture of himself in military uniform.
Two Olympic participants also serve in the guard.
These are biathlete Dmytro Pidruchny - who participated in the Olympic Games in Beijing and won World Cup gold in 2019 - and Dmytro Mazurchuk who competed in the Olympics in a Nordic combination.

SVT Sport has been in contact with Mazurchuk who confirms that they are correct.
The biathlete wrote on Saturday on his social media that he is staying in Ukraine to "protect his home and his family".
