An official from the Korea Skating Federation said on the 26th, "The short track team was originally scheduled to resume training at the Taereung Ice Rink in Seoul on the 27th, but the training start date was adjusted to March 2 in consideration of the schedule of the 103rd National Winter Sports Festival." The official said, "Therefore, the leaders and athletes will gather at the Jincheon Athlete's Village in North Chungcheong Province on the 2nd of next month and start training for the first time after the closing of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics."



As the national team's training schedule changed, the schedule for Shim Suk-hee's return to the national team was also changed.



Shim Suk-hee is training with her team, and she is due to move to Jincheon Athletes' Village on the 2nd of next month.



Shim Seok-hee came under fire when her private messages exchanged with her national team A coach during the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics in October of last year were revealed.



The content of the message contains derogatory remarks towards Choi Min-jung (Seongnam City Hall) and Kim A-Rang (Goyang City Hall), and also includes a story that raises suspicions about an intentional clash during the Olympic Games.



Shim Suk-hee said that she was suspended for two months from the Korea Ice Skating Federation's qualifications, and she could not compete in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.



It has been about five months since Shim Suk-hee wore her national team uniform after the separation of the national team in October last year.



Shim Suk-hee is aiming to compete at the International Skating Union (ISU) Short Track World Championships next month.



Whether Choi Min-jung and Kim A-rang will join the short track team has not been decided yet.
