The British superstar Elfyn Evans was beaten for the victory in the Swedish rally in Umeå, but on the sixteenth leg he was forced to break after hitting a snow bank.
The front of the car broke down and therefore he can not drive on.
Both Evans, who finished second overall in the WRC last year, and map reader Scott Martin are okay.
Leading the rally is the Finn Kalle Rovanperä.
Swedish Oliver Solberg is sixth, but over five minutes from the leader.
