Touching images before kick-off - Zinchenko in tears

Large parts of the world have condemned Russia's attack on Ukraine, after the country was invaded a few days ago.

Before the kick-off between Everton and Manchester City, the arena was colored yellow and blue when the players stepped out through the aisle wrapped in Ukrainian flags.

The guests were also wearing a cover shirt with the text "No War" and even among the audience, the support was shown openly.

I cried

For the Ukrainians Vitaly Mykolenko, Everton, and Oleksandr Zintchenko, Man City, it became extra emotional.

The players met in a warm hug during the warm-up and just before the match was to start, it broke for Zinchenko.

The camera zoomed in on him crying while the audience applauded warmingly.

Manchester City won the match 1-0.

Phil Foden won the match with the only goal.
