Swedish high jumper Melwin Lycke Holm, son of the icon Stefan Holm, has a hard time behind him.

The 17-year-old had a lead-heavy last year and expressed frustration on several occasions.

But now the form seems to be back.

New personal best

On Saturday, he stood for personal best indoors at the Swedish Championships in Växjö.

Lycke Holm jumped flawlessly over 2.16 meters, which was enough for the gold.

The talent also tried at 2.18, but tore three times.

Afterwards, he broke out in an explosive celebration.

Fabian Delryd took silver (2.14) and Simon Wiklund took bronze (2.10).

It is noteworthy that Lycke Holm showed evidence of budding form already in January.

Then he jumped 2.10 in Eskilstuna and was close to breaking a personal record.
