Cameroonian Dia Btoug in the main fight of the African version of (Emirates Warriors)

The curtain came down on the competitions of the first African edition of the "Emirates Warriors" Championship for Mixed Martial Arts (25), with the victory of Cameroonian Gorlis Dia in the main fight at the expense of the South African, Sundili Manjigila, with the unanimity of the judges in the featherweight, in the championship held at the Union Arena Arena on Yas Island in The capital, Abu Dhabi, with the participation of 20 male and female fighters, who fought 10 exciting fights, with which the public responded to confirm its promising start. 

The competitions of the first day of the championship were attended by Mohammed bin Dalmouk Al Dhaheri, Chairman of the Martial Arts Committee of the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation and MMA, and the British Kriith Brawan, President of the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation, and other officials.

Moroccan Sofiane Bokicho defeated Nigeria's Bello Adeto through a technical suffocation in heavyweight, and Congolese Jonathan Boskou beat Egypt's Mohamed Hassan by knockout, 

Cameroonian Wilson Varela defeated Senegalese Demba Sik in the light weight division.
