The coronation ceremony was attended by Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, President of the Emirates Tennis Federation, accompanied by Colm McLoughlin, Executive Vice Chairman of Dubai Duty Free, Chief of Operations at Dubai Duty Free, Ramesh Kidami, Director of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships Salah Tahlak, and Vice President for Business Affairs Marketing, Shined El Sebaei, Secretary General of the Tennis Federation Nasser Al Marzouki, and representatives of the Professional Players Association, crowned the men's 30th edition champions.

The Russian Rublev became the 19th historical champion to win the Dubai Tennis Championship, and the second in a row in the list of Russian players, after his compatriot Aslan Karatsev, the champion of last year's edition. The record holder with eight titles is the Swiss Roger Federer, champion of the editions (2003-2004-2005-2007-2012-2014-2015-2019), and Novak Djokovic (2009-2010-2011-2013-2020).

Rublev won the first place prize, amounting to 523,740 dollars, in addition to 500 points to be added to the total points of his world ranking, while the Czech Vasily won the financial prize for second place, amounting to 282,300 dollars, in addition to 300 points, knowing that The confrontation that brought the players together in Dubai is the first in the history of their meeting in the World Tennis Championships.

The Dubai Championship title is the second in two weeks for the Russian star Rublev this season, after his success on the 14th of this month in seizing the French Marseille Championship title. He won the Croatian Open.

Commenting on his victory in the first title in Dubai, the Russian Rublev said: "Winning in Dubai has another taste, after a previous attempt last year to reach the semi-finals, and I thank the fans of the tournament who have always supported me towards winning and winning the title."
