For the first time in a month, SHL hockey was played in the NHC Arena in Timrå.

Before the evening, Timrå and Frölunda had met three times this season and the latter left the events with the victory intact.

So too this evening when the guests took their sixth straight victory in the SHL.

With 04.49 left of the first period, Frölunda took the lead with 1-0 through Andreas Borgman.

But Timrå responded quickly and 28 seconds later Viktor Lodin equalized for the home team.

1-1 lasted the period.

In the middle of the second period, Frölunda was able to take the lead again and 1-2 lasted the period.

Six minutes into the third period, Frölunda was able to extend its lead in numerical superiority through the points king Ryan Lasch.

Puck inside the post

With eight and a half minutes left of the match, Timrå was able to reduce to 3-2 through Albin Carlson who nicely steered the puck in front of goal.

Timrå was then a post hit from the equalizer but no closer than that came the home team and Frölunda could take their sixth straight victory.

- We knew it would be a tough and good match.

Timrå has been good here at the end.

We are very happy with these three points, says shooting king Ryan Lasch.

On Saturday, Timrå will face Skellefteå at home and Frölunda will go to Karlstad to take on Färjestad.
