One thing is clear: In the fight to defend the title, Red Bull sometimes chose completely different design solutions than the competition from Mercedes or Ferrari.
Newey, who already designed Sebastian Vettel's world champion cars during his Red Bull days, has apparently created a new "lucky bag".
After all, the premier class has imposed a technology reform like it hasn't done in years to ensure more excitement on the track.
"I enjoy driving the new car," said Verstappen.
But it remains to be seen whether the car is not only visually convincing, but also fast.
