The 17-year-old drove the first leg for Sweden in Norwegian Lygna and lost almost a minute in the track between the first and second intermediate.

Afterwards she burst into tears.

- I was very tagged before, but then I might not really have the strength today.

It was tough out there and not my strongest day on the ski track, says Näslund to SVT Sport.

- I had good teammates who went well but everyone should go well if it is to go well in a relay.

"Bad day"

Was there anything in particular that was not true today?

- I just had a bad day.

Then I think it's hard to get to that overall.

Lisa Eriksson finally drove Sweden into fourth place, 40 seconds from the podium.

Norway won before Russia and Germany.

The JVM competitions continue with 5 km classic for the ladies on Friday and sprint on Sunday.

- This was my first race here, it can only go better after this I think.

I reload before the sprint, says Elin Näslund.
