Ottawa star Thomas Chabot, who is the assistant team captain and the fullback who has scored the most points on the team, had missed four games due to an upper body injury after a tackle by Washington's Tom Wilson last week.

But last night, when the Canadian capital team hosted Minnesota, Chalbot was back.

And he was a big match winner when he accounted for two goals and a goal-scoring pass.

- He makes a difference in the team.

We know how much he plays and contributes out there and makes a difference.

He took over tonight's game and won it for us, says team captain Brady Tkachuk, according to the NHL's website.

Another match winner was the team's Swedish goalkeeper Anton Forsberg who saved 40 shots.
