Juventus player McKinney injured his foot

Italian club Juventus announced today that its American international midfielder, Weston McKinney, suffered a fracture in his left foot, which he sustained in the last minutes of the match against Villarreal of Spain (1-1) on Tuesday in the first leg of the Champions League final.

A spokeswoman for the "Old Lady" club said that the 23-year-old American international was suffering from "metatarsal fractures".

And Italian media indicated that this injury may keep him out of the stadiums for at least two months.

McKinney was injured in the 80th minute after an intervention by Ecuadorean international Villarreal's right defender Pervis Estupinian, and he struggled a lot to return to the field before leaving his place in the 81st minute to Swiss Denis Zakaria.
