After a fourth place in Lillehammer's 10 km race in early December, things have gone worse for the Norwegian giant talent Fossesholm.

In her last race before the Olympics, Val di Fiemme's 10 km race in the Tour de Ski, she was only 33rd.

"Pressed himself too hard"

In the Olympics, it was just an individual race, and it ended with an 18th place in skiathlon.

It turned out to be her last competition this winter.

Her coach Geir Andre Rogn has announced that the 19-year-old has finished competing for this winter.

- I think she pushed herself too hard this summer and autumn.

The form then went yo-yo.

It's time for her to take a breather.

Helene will take a long break to let her body recover completely, then we will see when she is ready to start her pre-season, says Rogn, according to the site Ski-Nordique.
