The statement concluded: "The administrative mission contacted the director of the police, and they reflected to him what happened, and he immediately visited the mission's headquarters and made an official apology and directed not to harm the sports missions that visit the city of El-Obeid."

The team’s suffering was compounded by losing the match that brought the team together with its rival Khartoum National, 1-3 in the fifth round of the league. The team’s balance froze at 5 points, while Khartoum raised its score to 4.
