Spanish figure skater Laura Barquero Jimenez was tested in connection with the short pairing program in the Olympics on February 18 and on Tuesday the message came: Jimenez doping test contained traces of Clostebol.

The same substance as the Norwegian cross-country skier Therese Johaug was convicted for 2017.

- The athlete has been informed and she has the right to request an analysis of the B-test, the International Testing Agency (ITA) announces in a press release.

The 20-year-old Barquero and her partner Marco Zandron finished in eleventh place in the Olympics.
