A rare 'own goal hat-trick' in a soccer game is becoming a hot topic.

The player who had scored three own goals before the first half was over bowed his head and was eventually replaced by another player.

According to foreign media such as the British Guardian on the 20th local time, New Zealand women's soccer team defender Maykayla Moore (26, Liverpool FC woman) scored three own goals against the United States in the second round of the Shebelieves Cup held in Carson, California on the same day.

Moore's first own goal came just four minutes into the game.

The fact that he kicked Sophia Smith's cross from the USA with his right foot was sucked into the goal.

Before the shock was over, bad luck struck Moore again.

In the 5th minute of the first half, after Sofia of the United States, a cross from TA smashed Moore in the face and split his right goal net.

The nightmare did not end here.

In the 35th minute of the first half, Margaret Firth of the United States broke through the right flank and a low crossed ball hit Moore's left foot and deflected, shaking New Zealand's net.

After completing an own goal hat-trick with his right foot, face and left foot, giving the USA a 3-0 lead, Moore didn't look up for a while.

In the end, New Zealand women's national football team manager Lee Tka Klimkova called Moore to the bench in the 40th minute of the first half, who wiped her face off the bench after she left the field in tears.

New Zealand lost 0-5 in the second half by conceding goals from US Ashley Hatch and Mallory Pugh.

It is the first time in history that the U.S. women's soccer team has scored three own goals in a game, according to US Sporting News.

Her England FA Women's Championship For Moore, who plays for Liverpool, her match of her day on her day was known to have been her own 50th A match (her inter-national match).

In an interview after the match, manager Klimkova said, "Any player has some great days and some hard days. Today was a tough day for Moore. There is no doubt,” he said.

"Moore is a solid centre-back that opponents can't break through. He's strong in the air and he's good at passing. I'll continue to tell him this and give him strength," she said.

Football fans also sent warm condolences to Moore instead of criticizing him.

Fans commented on Moore's social media, "It's okay to lift your head", "It's just bad luck. Cheer up", "

This is a 'news pick'.
