Defender Ben Garrosio scored a superb scorpion kick goal for his Western United team, against its guest Western Sydney Wanderers in the Australian Football League, on Sunday.

The Australian defender scored the goal in a beautiful way, after receiving a cross in a flying position, to hit the ball with the heel of the foot, scoring the third goal for his team and the second for him in the match.

The Western club, through its official account on Twitter, published a video of the player's historic goal, praising him by saying: "Ben Garosio's creativity will remain in memory for years and years with this goal."

And the official account of the International Football Association “FIFA” republished the video, commenting on it, “I have seen it 4 times and I still do not believe it.

In a press interview with the player after the match, he said about the beautiful goal he scored: "I meant it, but can I do it again in a thousand times? Maybe not."

"I did mean it…but could I do it again in a thousand goes? Probably not."

A large group of fans nominated the target for the Puskas Prize, which FIFA gives annually to the best goal in the world.

The match ended with a 3-2 victory for Western United, thanks to Ben Garrosio's goal to boost his team's lead in the score when it was 2-1.
