Brynäs has had to do without head coach Mikko Manner during the Olympics and will also be able to do so during the match at Malmö Arena tomorrow.

- The team (Brynäs) is away on a road trip now and will meet Malmö tomorrow and he will not be in the booth tomorrow but will join on Wednesday and be back in the booth on Thursday, says Brynäs Sports Manager Erika Grahm to SVT Sport.

Traveling back to Finland

Manner, who is the assistant coach for the Finnish men's national team, will travel back with the gold team to Finland.

- They will travel back to Finland from Beijing.

I guess there is something big going on in Finland given that it is a historic Olympic gold for them.

We wish him that success and let him make it clear.

Then he comes back loaded to Gävle and Brynäs, says Grahm.

"Happy and proud"

Brynäs does not see the fact that Mikko Manner is absent despite the Olympics being over as a problem.

They have without problems played matches throughout the Olympics without him.

- We have had other coaches who have stepped forward and broadened with other resources in the house.

We have already played matches without him so a match here or there does not matter.

He gets to finish his Olympic adventure and then he comes home to Gävle on Wednesday.

- We are happy and proud of Mikko's success, says Erika Grahm.
