The Swedish women's national team's big star left French Brest for Vipers Kristiansand last summer, but after only half a season, she now announces that she is breaking her two-year contract with the Norwegian club this summer.

- I make the tough decision to break my contract after this season.

It is for personal reasons that I have chosen to make the decision and it has been a difficult decision to make.

Sometimes life takes a different direction than we want and I simply need to live closer to my family, says Isabelle Gulldén to the club's website.

Where she will end up next season is unclear.

- But I'm so happy that I took the chance to play in Vipers.

In a very short time I have fallen in love with the girls and people in and around the club.

The season is not over yet and I came to the Vipers to win titles.

This is something I will fight hard for us to succeed with, says Gulldén.
