The title of the Spence 92 Cycle Challenge goes to "Ibtisam and Henley"

The Dubai Police team’s bike, Ibtisam Zayed, won the title of the 12th edition of the Spinneys Dubai 92nd Cycling Challenge, which was held with the support of the Dubai Sports Council and in cooperation with the UAE Federation of the Game and under the umbrella of the International Federation of the Game within the Grand Fundo World Championships.

The Italian and team member of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Adviser to the President of the State, Carmela Cipriani, came in second place, and her compatriot and member of the same team, Aurora Mantovani, came in third place.

More than 2,500 cyclists of different nationalities participated in the race.

258 of the top competitors in the race from the 10 different categories qualified to participate in the final race of the "Grand Fondo World".

Britain's Simon Henley won first place in the men's category, followed by Filipino Edgardo Tonay, while Emirati Abdul Rahman Salem came third, and his compatriot Abdullah Al Balushi came fourth.

The famous race, which was held on Saturday morning, began and extended for 92 kilometers from Dubai Sports City, passing through many vital tourist areas in Dubai, most notably the Dubai Expo 2020, and the track passed many distinctive destinations, most notably Emirates Hills, Jumeirah Islands, and Montgomery Golf Course.
