The International Olympic Committee presents the Olympic trophy to the Chinese people

Bach said when presenting the award: "Without the support of the Chinese people, the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics could not have reached such an outstanding level. Even in a closed loop, we felt the support of the Chinese people."
Bach said: "We can feel warmth, energy, enthusiasm and support. Chinese people from all walks of life, born in different generations, as well as Chinese cultural figures, artists, scientists, engineers, students and thousands of volunteers They all welcomed the athletes and us very, very warmly. They are very committed to the success of this Winter Olympics.”
Bach concluded: "This is really heartwarming, and it is also crucial to the success of the Beijing Winter Olympics. Therefore, it is my great honor and pleasure to announce that today, the International Olympic Committee awarded the Chinese People's Olympic Trophy."
At the plenary meeting that day, Juan Samaranch, chairman of the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee and the Beijing Winter Olympics Coordination Committee of the International Olympic Committee, made a presentation report to the plenary meeting.
The plenum would like to express its gratitude to Beijing for successfully hosting the 2022 Winter Olympics and to the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee for its excellent service to athletes and all Winter Olympics participants.
The Olympic trophy was created in 1906 by Coubertin, the founder of the modern Olympic movement, and is awarded annually by the International Olympic Committee to organizations and associations that have made positive and effective contributions to the development of the Olympic movement.
After the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, the International Olympic Committee also presented the Olympic trophy to the host.
The closing ceremony of the Beijing Winter Olympics will be held on the evening of the 20th.
