The meeting between Chicago and Dallas became, to say the least, a pointless story.

Much thanks to two great goalkeepers.

Chicago's Marc-Andre Fleury and Dallas' Jake Oettinger nailed it again in total.

Despite plenty of chances, the goalkeeper duo ensured that it was goalless after both regular time and after extra time.

To reach a decision, the match went to penalties where a Swedish Jacob Peterson would take on the role of hero.

In the sixth penalty round, the 22-year-old got the chance to decide - and as he took it.

Peterson tricked Fleury and fiddled sideways before teasing the puck between the goalkeeper star's legs.

The decisive penalty goal was the Swede's tenth of the season.

Peterson, who has a past in Frölunda and Färjestad, is listed for a total of twelve points during his debut season in the NHL.
