After a fairly even start, Sweden had gained a good position before the second half when they led 3-2.

In the sixth round, Team Hasselborg took three points and went away from the Swiss to 6-2.

In the seventh round, Switzerland had a dream position to equalize, by pulling in a four-pointer, but they managed to pinch two points.

Before the eighth round, the distance to Sweden had decreased to 4-6.

Team Hasselborg went away and won the eighth round with 2-0 and had a dream situation with four points lead with two rounds left, 8-4.

Pressed at the end

Sweden began to tremble in the penultimate round and Switzerland worked their way up to 7-8, which was the position before the tenth and final round.

Switzerland also took time out there.

Anna Hasselborg, Sara McManus, Sofia Mabergs and Agnes Knochenhauer got it hot on their ears in the last round, but had the advantage of having the last stone.

There they made no mistakes and finally won the match 9-7 after a loose, but controlled last stone.

The bronze is Team Hasselborg's second medal in the Olympic context after the gold in Pyeongchang 2018.
