While the defending champion Jeonbuk decorated the opening game with victory, Lee Seung-woo, wearing a Suwon FC uniform, made a smooth debut.

Due to the influence of the Qatar World Cup to be held in November, the K-League started in mid-February, the earliest in history.

Last year's champion Jeonbuk defeated Suwon FC in Jeonju, where about 7,000 spectators gathered even in cold weather.

In the 34th minute of the second half, Song Min-gyu, from North Jeolla Province, cheered as he fired the opening cannon with a sensational left-footed shot that pierced between the goalkeeper's legs.

Sun-Min Moon exquisitely finished the ball with an outfront kick.

Suwon FC's Lee Seung-woo made his K-League debut as a substitute at the start of the second half.

He actively led the attack by moving left and right, and the shot he raised like a cross went straight to the goalkeeper, which was disappointing.

In the 37th minute of the second half, he broke through the right flank and fell after being stepped on by Jung-ho Hong, but no penalty was awarded.

Seoul won 2-0 in Daegu.

In the 23rd minute of the first half, Cho Young-wook, who received a heel pass from Yoon Jong-gyu, shook the net with a powerful right-footed shot, and in the 35th minute of the second half, Na Sang-ho stripped off two defenders and scored a key goal.

Incheon defeated Suwon and gave the home fans a victory in the opening game thanks to a theater header goal in the second half of extra time.
