Haaland continues to miss Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund coach Marco Rose revealed today that attacking star Erling Haaland will continue to miss the team's match against Borussia Moenchengladbach tomorrow, in the German Football League.

Rose confirmed that Haaland will be absent due to his continuing recovery from problems in the adductor muscle.

Rose said: "Erling Haaland will not participate in the match against Monchengladbach, Marius Wolf may be an option."

The coach added that defender Manuel Akanji will be out for about three weeks due to a muscle tear in his calf, and that right-back Thomas Meunier has not returned from injury yet.

Rose had frustrated the Moenchengladbach fans when he took advantage of a clause in his contract with the club that allows him to leave after two years, and moved to coach Borussia Dortmund last year.

The confrontation of the two teams in the first half of the season ended with a 1-0 victory for Moenchengladbach at home, last September.
