Saudi media claimed that the Saudi Al-Nasr team had agreed with the goalkeeper of Zamalek and the Egyptian national team, Muhammad Abu Jabal, to contract him “for free” after the end of his contract next summer.

And the Saudi newspaper, "Al-Riyadia", tweeted - through its official account on Twitter - "The Saudi victory has finally agreed with Muhammad Abu Jabal to include him for free after the end of his contract with Zamalek next summer."

The newspaper pointed out that the agreement between the two parties stipulated the signing of Abu Jabal for victory for one season, with the option to extend another season, for an amount of about 7 million riyals (about two million dollars).

Abu Jabal grabbed the spotlight in the finals of the African Nations Cup hosted by Cameroon recently, leading the "Pharaohs" team to reach the final, before losing on penalties to Senegal in the final of the African World Cup.

On the other hand, the president of the Zamalek club, Mortada Mansour, decided the fate of Abu Jabal. He said, "I sat with Abu Jabal and he assured me that he will continue with the Zamalek club, and there is no crisis with him."

He continued, "All that is being said is rumours."

Abu Jabal, 32, previously played for Enppi and Smouha clubs, and has been defending the colors of Zamalek since 2019.
