The UAE tops the first day of the Challenge Jiu-Jitsu Championship

The Jiu-Jitsu Arena in Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi witnessed this evening the competitions of the first day of the Jiu-Jitsu Challenge Championship, with the participation of hundreds of children of different nationalities.

The competitions were attended by Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri, Vice-President of the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation, Youssef Abdullah Al-Batran, a member of the Federation's Board of Directors, a number of federation officials and representatives of clubs and academies.

Team Gladiators Academy ranked first with 975 points, while the runner-up position went to Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club with 675 points, and Jiu-Jitsu Arena Academy ranked third with 595 points.

At the level of countries, the UAE ranked first with 1,870 points, Egypt in the summer with 290 points, and Jordan third with 280 points.

The tournament targets age groups from 4 to 15 years old, and is for white, gray, yellow, orange and green belts.

Tomorrow, the second day of the championship will continue with the fights of boys and girls from the white, gray, yellow, orange and green belts.
