Let's take a look at the Olympic news two days before the closing.

In the women's figure skating that ended yesterday (17th), Korea's Yoo Young and Kim Ye-rim, two skaters, were ranked in the top 10.

Athletes who dreamed of wearing skates while watching Yuna Kim standing on the Olympic podium have now grown to the point where they can confidently compete on the world's best stage.

When she was 12 years old, six years before her, Yoo Young received attention early on, breaking Yuna Kim's record for the youngest win at a national championship.

[Athlete Yoo / Interview in 2015: I want to become a gold medalist at the Olympics like Yuna’s sister.]

Yooyoung, who took first place in the preliminary round 4 years ago, but was unable to attend the Pyeongchang Olympics due to age restrictions, has since installed a high-level 'triple axel' and maintained the number one position in the country.

Although living with injuries to her hip and ankle due to her tremendous training,

[Yooyoung: I don't think there has been a pain-free day since her elementary school.

I think I'm paying attention.]

She flew off the stage of her dreams.

Even though her skill score has been cut by nearly 10 points due to the lack of rotation of the triple axel, she is ranked 6th, so if she only increases the triple axel success rate, it is evaluated that a medal is possible.

[Yooyoung/figure skating national team: I think I had tears in my eyes because I had so much trouble and so many things I felt.

I will do my best to show a better image in the next Olympics.]

19-year-old Kim Ye-rim, who even earned the nickname 'figure general' for her brave exit after finishing acting, saw the potential.

She brightened her future with strong support from the same agency as Kim Yuna.

[Yerim Kim / National Figure Skating Team: I started figure skating after seeing Yuna Kim at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, and I think I have achieved what I have been dreaming of since I was a child.]

With Yoo Young, who competed with each other, grew up together, and gave hope to Korean figure skating. Kim Ye-rim will also participate in the World Championships next month and challenge the 'Top 10' once again.
