The home team AIK was visited by Björklöven who was ready to take their third straight victory - that did not happen.

AIK took an impressive victory with a full 6-1 and now has five wins in the last six.

Daniel Torgersson opened the scoring five minutes into the first period and then it took just over a quarter of an hour before AIK's points king Max Lindholm was able to put 2-0.

30 seconds later, the home team painted again.

The second period was more and more even, both in terms of play but also in terms of goals and AIK won the second period 1-0.

Before the third and final period, it was 4-0.

The final result was then written to a full 6-1 after the Umeå team found a gap behind the home team's goalkeeper Niklas Lundström.

AIK is now steaming to reach a quarter-final place in the Hockeyallsvenskan playoffs.

For Björklöven, it looks increasingly brighter as they are in fourth place with ten points down to just AIK, with one match less played.
