A “disastrous” condition prevents Zamalek from sacking its coach, Carteron

Former Zamalek coach Osama Nabih said that the previous administration headed by Hussein Labib concluded a "disastrous" contract with Carteron for a period of three seasons, giving the French coach the opportunity to obtain the value of his entire contract if he was dismissed at any time of the validity of the contract.


He added, in statements to the "MBC" channel, that it is not true what is said that the penalty clause stipulated in the Carteron contract gives him the right to receive a two-month salary of $300,000, only if he is dismissed, but the coach will receive approximately 33 months, which is the period The remainder in his contract, a frightening number that will compel the current administration not to consider firing him.


The temporary committee concluded a formal agreement with Carteron, stipulating his association with Zamalek for a period of three seasons, in exchange for him receiving $150,000 as a monthly salary, other than the prizes for winning championships.


It is noteworthy that a sharp dispute occurred between the Zamalek board of directors headed by Mortada Mansour and the French coach, against the background of the team's decline in results at the African and local levels.
