After the ice skating competitions ended, Trusova broke into a fit of tears and said, "I hate this sport! I'm not going to the awards ceremonies, I don't want to, I won't go! I won't skate again! Everyone has a gold medal, but I I didn't get one."
According to "Russia Today", and at a press conference after that, Trosova explained her feelings and said: "I just wanted to cry and cry. I spent three weeks (in Beijing) without my mother."
