Looking back, Qian Hui didn't expect that she had come so far.
In 1993, Putuo District began to explore the way to cultivate women's football talents, and based on Jinshajiang Road Primary School, a primary school-age women's football team was established.
It was in this year that Qian Hui, a former Henan women's football player, graduated from Shanghai Sports Academy and went to Jinshajiang Road Primary School to become a women's football coach.
For Qian Hui, this was a groping from scratch.
Women's football has received little attention. Bringing children to practice football is by no means "fat". The accommodation conditions are poor, and there is no formal training venue. All kinds of difficulties are huge and specific.
At that time, Zhang Xiang was teaching in the football teaching and research section of the Sports Institute. In order to help Qian Hui train young players, he often rode from the Sports Institute to Putuo for 40 minutes. "Several pairs of pants were worn out."
After two years of "voluntary labor", these children were about to enter junior high school. Zhang Xiang simply officially transferred his work to Putuo District.
"In those two years, I had already brought out feelings, and I was 'locked up' by the children." Thinking of these "obedient and hard-working" children who were promoted to junior high school, no one wanted to play football, and Zhang Xiang was reluctant.
He began to form a middle school women's football team in Putuo, and he had a firm idea in his heart: "I must train these children."
Zhang Xiang also emphasized that his choice was more influenced by Qian Hui. "She likes to teach children. If I hadn't seen her so persistently, I would definitely not have been able to do it."

In 2000, the Cao Yang No. 2 Middle School of Putuo Women's Football Arrangement Middle School canceled the junior high school, and the "one-stop" appeared to be broken.
With the support of Putuo District Education Bureau, Meilong Middle School joined.
However, the tuition fee of this middle school, which was still private at the time, was as high as 3,000 yuan per semester. Many parents of the team members were discouraged, clamoring to transfer their children to public schools, and stopped playing football.

The twists and turns were finally resolved properly, and the district education bureau and sports bureau shared half of the tuition fees.
Qian Hui called the students who had been transferred one by one and told them to come back quickly.
"There are a lot of things they do that we didn't know when we were kids."
