Daniel Muzito-Bagenda compares the diversity of ice hockey with other major sports.

- If you look at football, it looks completely different.

There are more ethnicities and more different backgrounds.

Hockey is far behind other sports, he says and continues:

- I usually think that it is based on the financial.

Hockey is very expensive with all the equipment and all the fees.

He also has suggestions on how to make a difference.

-I think you could attract more people through opportunities where you can come and try on borrowed equipment.

Should you have such days, it becomes more of a decision where you opt out because you do not think it's fun, instead of feeling left out even before you have tried it.
