Injury
During the long training cycle, Ren Ziwei encountered a big hurdle in his life-two fractures that could almost ruin his career.
"In 2010, he suffered an accidental injury and a broken bone in the Heilongjiang Provincial Championship. His parents were distressed for the child. During that time, I went to Ren Ziwei's house every day to help him with his recovery training. In 2011, he was injured again in the competition at the provincial ice training base, but the child never He said he wanted to give up, and he had an unwillingness to admit defeat." In December 2015, in the men's 1500m final of the Short Track Speed Skating World Cup Shanghai Station, Ren Ziwei won his first World Cup championship with a time of 2:14.403.
In the 2016 Short Track Speed Skating World Youth Championships, Ren Ziwei topped the all-around standings and became the first men's all-around champion from China since the establishment of the World Youth Championships.
Time flies, and the gradually mature Ren Ziwei ushered in his Winter Olympics debut in Pyeongchang.
