342 male and female players participate in the World Karate League in Fujairah

Tomorrow, the first round of the World Karate-Premier League kicks off, where the competitions will be held at the Zayed Sports Complex in Fujairah, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, and organized by the UAE and international federations, in cooperation with the Fujairah Martial Arts Club.

The competitions include kata and kumite, with the participation of 342 male and female players representing 55 countries.

This came in a press conference of the Organizing Committee, during which the technical details were announced, and was attended by the President of the Spanish International Federation Antonio Spinos, the President of the UAE and Asian Federations and the Vice-President of the International Federation, Major General Nasser Al-Razouki, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, and the technical director of the tournament Mohammed Abbas.

And there are 17 male and female players who won medals in the last Tokyo Olympics, including Egyptian Faryal Ashraf, Saudi Tariq Hamdi, Jordanian Abdul Rahman Al-Masdah, and 3 Emiratis ranked among the 100 players, Hawra Al-Ajmi, Fatima Khaseef and Ahmed Salem.
